ASTER PLAY Privacy Policy

ASTER PLAY (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an international software development company specialized in the mobile apps and games. We are committed to maintaining customer privacy through an ethical performance culture that is based on trust, simplicity and confidence. It is one of ASTER PLAY’s core principles to secure customer information while using our mobile applications (“products”), and provide privacy protection that is critical in maintaining trust and providing better services. The purpose of this policy is to provide you with all the important information and explanations about how and why some of your data may be collected and processed by ASTER PLAY when you use one of our applications or games.

This policy also aims to remind you about your rights and to provide you with all the elements you need to exercise them.

1. DATA COLLECTION AND USE

Email and Other Information That You Provide to Us

If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail, we will collect your e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the e-mail, in order to send you a reply. We also collect other types of Personal Data that you provide to us voluntarily, such as your operating system and version, and other requested information if you contact us via e-mail regarding support for the Service. We will only use your email address to contact you for custom support purpose and sending ASTER PLAY related news. We do not share your email address with anyone outside of the ASTER PLAY .

Third Party Service Providers

When you install and use ASTER PLAY mobile apps & games, these applications will use third party services that may collect and process some of your data for advertising and analytics purpose. You will find a list of our partners the privacy policies of their services that describe their practices and allow you to exercise your rights directly toward them hereafter.

Ad Partners that allow us to monetize the ad inventory of our apps and provide users with free products and services. Those partners usually collect data via their own tools (Software Development Kits or “SDK”). Analytics Platforms that provide us with tools and technologies that allow us to better understand how users interact with our services and will help us improve it. App Market & Store that allows you download / purchase our apps and games. When you download or make an in-app purchase, the app market & store on your device may collect personal information from you. You will find a list of app markets & stores publishing our applications in the section below.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Sharing on Social Networks

Some of our apps and games offers features allowing users to share content on social networks. When you interact with such social media widgets or “share buttons”, these social network companies may collect information about you and/or your device and connection. your interactions with these services are governed by the respective privacy policies of the companies providing these services. Children’s Data

ASTER PLAY never knowingly or willingly collect any personal data concerning children under 16 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

2. DATA SECURITY

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we use reasonable efforts to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

3. YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT

You have the following rights on your personal data and the data processing:

Right to data - Right to receive information about the processing of your Personal Data, prior to processing as well as during the processing, upon request.
Right of access - Aside from the information about the processing of your Personal Data, you have the right to receive a copy of your Personal Data undergoing processing.
Right to rectification - We should process accurate Personal Data; if you discover inaccuracy, you have the right to seek rectification of inaccurate Personal Data.
Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) - You have the right to erasure of your Personal Data, but only in specific cases stipulated by law, e.g., if there is no legally recognized title on our part for further processing of your Personal Data.
Right to object - Applies to cases of processing carried out in legitimate interest. You have the right to object to such processing, on grounds relating to your particular situation, and we are required to assess the processing in order to ensure compliance with all legally binding rules and applicable regulations. In case of direct marketing, we shall cease processing Personal Data for such purposes after the objection.
Right to withdraw consent - In the case of processing based on your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time, by using the same method (if technically possible) you used to provide it to us (the exact method will be described in more detail with each consent when you provide it). The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.
Right to restriction of processing - You have the right to restriction of processing of your Personal Data if: You are contesting the accuracy of your Personal Data, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of your Personal Data; the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the Personal Data and request the restriction of its use instead; we no longer need the Personal Data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by you for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; or you have objected to processing of your Personal Data, and there is a pending verification whether our legitimate grounds override your interests.
Right to lodge a complaint - You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority by sending a letter to the competent authority in Singapore.

You can exercise your rights by sending us a clear and specific request by email to dpo@asterplay.com. Your request will be handled by our team within a reasonable delay from the date of its receipt and granted or refused subject to our legal obligations and within the limits of your rights.

The fulfillment of data subject rights listed above will depend on the category of Personal Data and the processing activity. Upon request, ASTER PLAY will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. If possible, ASTER PLAY will communicate your request directly to another data controller when the processing is based on consent or contract.

4. DISCLAIMERS

In case any competent government authority requests us to disclose any personal user identification information in accordance with relevant legal procedures, laws or regulations, we will provide such personal user information according to the requirements of the government authority or for the purpose of public safety. ASTER PLAY will assume no liability for any disclosure in such case.

ASTER PLAY will not assume any responsibility for any of your personal information that is disclosed for your own reasons (for example, when you voluntarily disclose to other people your password or when you share your account with other people).

ASTER PLAY assumes no responsibility for any personal information that is lost, disclosed, or falsified due to forces beyond ASTER PLAY’s control, including but not limited to events that may affect normal network operations, such as hacker attack, intrusion or attack of computer virus and temporary closure of websites due to government regulations or actions.

ASTER PLAY assumes no responsibility for the disclosure of personal particulars or other customer information caused by (i) the other websites linked with our website or referred to in our website, products or services; (ii) third party software or coding incorporated in our website, products or services; or (iii) the incorporation of any part of our products into the websites, products or services provided by third parties, as well as any legal dispute and consequence resulting from any of (i)-(iii).

ASTER PLAY assumes no responsibility when it or a third party uses your personal information in accordance with provisions of relevant laws or regulations or this privacy policy.

ASTER PLAY assumes no responsibility when your personal information is disclosed due to unpredictable and inevitable risks of the internet, including without limitation: virus attack, hijacking, temporary site closure or server closure resulted from government control and inevitable technical defects of the software due to technical level at the time of development.

5. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
